What do we know so far?

A lot.

So much, in fact, that I'm probably going to spend the next few weeks recapping things that were old and done by August 11th, but I've got to start this from the beginning. Consider this a fake beginning.

I've been looking into this stuff all summer and just decided to make it into a website today. It's not done, but it's something.

This project is about police and lawsuits against them, but for the past two months, it's been about getting people to talk to me. That's going to take a coalition of

students

activists

student activists

lawyers

and, of course,

police officers

people who have sued/will sue/would sue/maybe should sue police officers

people who know those kind of people.

We'll get them, eventually.

As for now, this site needs a domain name and an audio file or two. I need some more free time, and to draft some interview questions for the second and third interviews I've ever done for this project.
